Three Delicious and Wholesome Smoothie Recipes
What one food category is delicious, healthy, a meal in itself and super easy to prepare? Smoothies! We love our smoothies tasty, green, full of super foods, and packed with nutrients! Here we share our favourite recipes with you:

1. Detox Breakfast Smoothie

Start your day with this detoxifying smoothie, which apart from containing a ton of antioxidants and nutrients, tastes delicious and wholesome! It’s everything you want your breakfast to be.


1 cup green tea, chilled
1 cup cilantro, finely chopped
1 cup organic kale, shredded
1 cup cucumber, sliced
1 cup pineapple, cut into cubes
juice of 1 lemon
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
½ avocado, scooped and mashed

Place ingredients into a blender and puree until smooth. Serve chilled, immediately.

2. Immunity Building Smoothie

With the change in season coupled with a smog-infused environment, we can all do with reviving a sluggish immunity. This delicious smoothie, with its healing ingredients does just that!


1 1/2 cups filtered water
4 handfuls fresh organic spinach, chopped
4 romaine or iceberg lettuce leaves, chopped
2 ripe oranges, peeled
2 ripe bananas, peeled and sliced
1"-2" knob of fresh ginger, grated
1 cucumber, peeled and sliced

First blend the spinach and romaine until smooth, then add the remaining ingredients and blend.

Pour into a glass and serve chilled, immediately.

3. Indulgent Smoothie

There are days when you want the comfort of a big sugary, creamy, chocolate-laden beverage. There’s no reason why you should ever deprive yourself, so go ahead and enjoy this satisfying and healthier version, with fewer calories and higher protein.

3/4 cup whole milk
1/4 cup strong espresso, slightly cooled
1/2 cup banana, chopped
1/4 cup classic peanut butter
1/4 cup dark chocolate, roughly chopped
ice, as needed
raw organic honey, optional

Add milk, espresso, banana and peanut butter into blender. into blender, along with ice. Blend until smooth. Taste the smoothie, and if needed, add honey. If you’d like a thicker consistency, add more ice and finally chopped dark chocolate. Blend once again.
Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
